California Man Sentenced to 4 Years in Prison For Child Porn Posession

A long beach man was sentenced Monday to 4 years in prison for uploading thousands of images of child pornography to the Internet, including images of toddlers and under the age of 12.

According to assistant U.S. attorney Jeffrey chemerinsky, 58-year-old Christopher Stringini was also sentenced by U.S. district judge R. Gary Klausner to pay a $ 5,000 special contribution and life supervised release.

December. 9 restitution hearing was also scheduled during a closed sentencing hearing in Los Angeles Federal court.

Strand pleaded guilty to possessing more than 17,000 images he obtained from a now-defunct website called Playpen that operated on the dark web.

In September 2018, he was charged by three Federal courts with possession of child pornography.
